Hormonal Contraceptive Methods.-Gavafute.us

When it comes to lose weight fast, there are a lot of factors to be taken into consideration, sometimes even we are eating healthy and exercising regularly we cannot lose belly fat; but what is the reason beyond that? It might be as simple as the contraceptive method we use. Here in Gavafute.US we created a little post related to them.
There are six Hormonal Contraceptives that are the Pills, Vaginal Ring, Patch, Progestin Injection, Implant and IUD.

Those contraceptives that contain progestin, can cause the patient to gain weight between one or two kilos. The contraceptive pill modifies the hormonal content of the body, as it adds small amounts of estrogen and progesterone to inhibit ovulation. For this reason tend to appear side effects that vary according to each woman, but that does not mean that everyone has weight gain often the body reacts to other side effects such as more abundant flow or appearance of acne on the face.

We tell you their function of each one:
• IUD. The intrauterine device is a contraceptive method of a duration of five years. There are two types, the hormonal and the copper. Both prevent fertilization with a very high effectiveness. This method must be placed and removed by a doctor.

• Pill. The contraceptive pill is probably the best known hormonal contraceptive method. It contains hormones (progesterone and estrogen) that are released into the blood to block ovulation and prevent pregnancy.

•             Patch. The transdermal contraceptive patch is a combined hormonal method that releases hormones through the skin. The patch should stick on clean, dry and hairless skin. It is maintained for a week and the cycle is repeated three weeks in a row.

• Vaginal ring. It is a flexible and transparent ring that is placed in the vagina easily. It frees estrogen and progesterone continuously for three weeks.

• Progestin injection. The intramuscular injection of progesterone is done every month or every other month. The goal is to prevent ovulation.

• Implant. It is a thin rod that is placed under the skin on the arm. It is a discreet and comfortable method that can be maintained for three years. It only releases progesterone so it can be used by women who cannot tolerate estrogen.
