Lupus is an autoimmune and chronic disease; the immune system specializes in fighting various diseases of external contagion. But in a person with lupus this changes because the focus of attack on our immune system is our own body, damaging joints, skin, lungs, even our brain. 3.    Systematic Lupus Erythematosus: it is the most complicated attacks any part of the body or organ.

Lupus is not contagious, nor is it transmitted through sexual intercourse, this disease can go from mild to fatal.
